SPEEDIA

Co-Founder & Product Designer

Designed a helmet-mounted, ergonomic media controller built to run in sub-32°F weather. Put the 3D-printed casing through 5 rounds of crash testing, kept it usable up to 30 feet from the device, and designed for assembly to cut build time 30% versus the first prototypes.

Chassis & Powertrain

Team Lead — CU Boulder Formula SAE

Designed and modeled 4+ precision CAD welding jigs in SolidWorks to locate and constrain suspension tabs during fabrication, building manufacturing constraints and weld sequencing into every design. Leading a small group building a suspension validation device to test 5+ configurations.

Compressed-Air Engine

Mechanical Design Project — CU Boulder

Designed and constrained 5+ parts in SolidWorks for a compressed-air engine rated under 10 PSI, then machined every part on mills and lathes to within ±0.001 in. Ran the finished engine at 2.4 PSI with a small team.

Competition Robot

Team Lead — Cyber Spartans FTC

Led a team of 20 from 30th place in the region to 4th the following year. Built the robot around modular subsystems so the team could swap design ideas heading into competition, and focused on size constraints to improve maneuverability and durability.
